BakerKit survey is live - confirm your address, upgrade your pledge and expedite your shipping

Hi there Fixers,

We’ve just launched our BackerKit surveys out to you all. We hope this will make your experience as a backer of us on Kickstarter that much better. This survey will allow you to confirm your address, upgrade your pledge by adding on additional items and expedite your shipping so you can get fixing faster.

This last point is perhaps the one that will be most relevant to most of you who are receiving shipment internationally. What we have done is we’ve worked out the difference to upgrade your shipping to 1st class via Royal Mail. Expedited shipping starts from an additional £1. For some of you, for example in Australia, this could change your shipment from arriving in up to 8 weeks, to arriving in 5 - 7 days. The details of the shipping timings are written in the descriptions of the add ons. If you wish to expedite your shipping please select the add on relevant to where your pledge is being shipped.

We will leave the BackerKit survey open for as long as we can without effecting shipping so please fill this in at your earliest convenience.

With our campaign now complete, for just over two weeks, we've been working hard to get everything we can done to fulfil your pledges.

Thank you to everyone who has filled out our Kickstarter surveys so far. There aren't many of you left so please do ensure you've filled out your survey so that we know where we're delivering your pledges to. As a few of you have asked don't worry if you need to change your address, you'll be able to once our BackerKit survey comes out.

Above you'll see a sneak peak of the FixIts postcards that are going out to some of our pledges! We've also working on the FixIts seals of approval, the stickers, and of course the packs of FixIts.

We'll keep you updated as things progress along further.

We did it - Our Kickstarter has been funded & what happens next

Our Kickstarter campaign is finally complete! 

Wow!!! What an incredible 30 days its been for us! We are so proud to have raised £36,982 from 2,941 backers, with more than 25,000 FixIts soon to be making their way around the world to make, mould and mend.

And when we say "we did it", we don't just mean the team at FixIts but all of you backers too. There wouldn't be a kickstarter without you! We have been blown away by the positive responses and energy towards FixIts, for that we are very grateful! 

What happens next? What if I didn't pledge in time?

As we have far exceeded our own expectations for this campaign we are working as hard and as fast as we can in order to make sure we are still able to deliver absolutely everything on time. 

We have teamed up with BackerKit to ensure the process from pledging to receiving your FixIts is as smooth as possible. On the week beginning on the 13th of August you will all recieve a BackerKit survey which will confirm you order, allow you to add on more FixIts to your pledge, upgrade your pledge, expedite your shipping, ask us any last questions you have and add your delivery address. 

For those of you who just missed out on the Kickstarter - don't worry! We're setting up a BacketKit pre-order store that will allow you to get your hands on FixIts. This will hopefully go live early next week, so please follow us to keep in the loop. You'll be able to find this store from our website once it goes live and we'll also publish it here.

48 hours left, over 6 times funded and over 22 thousand FixIts sticks to be sent out across the world to make, mould and mend. 

Thank you to all those who have chosen to back this project, we are truly humbled by the positive response to FixIts and we hope it will allow you to take more control over the life of your products. It's been a long journey to get to this point for us, but we've still got a little bit further to go. So we look forward to, and invite you to join us, on the final push of our campaign.

Can you believe it? We're thrilled to share that we're now more than 5 times fully funded!

A massive thank you to our backers for all your support - your questions and comments have helped and encouraged us immensely as we get ready to send FixIts around the world. 

As we've far exceeded our goal and there are so many of you we wanted to make sure your experience with us was a good as it could be after the campaign ends. So we decided to partner with BackerKit who will allow you to add on items to your order, expedite your shipping to get your FixIts faster, change your address and more. And on our end it allows us to manage all your orders that much better, which is really important if we're going to be shipping to five times more of you than we expected. Furthermore if you missed the boat on Kickstarter you'll be able to make orders through BackerKit for that little bit longer so you don't miss out on getting your fix.
